Shri Kishorsinh Sodha is a distinguished educationist and a deeply knowledgeable individual. Recognising the vast potential in the field of nursing education, Shri Sodha envisioned a brighter future for aspiring healthcare professionals. With this foresight, he established the Sodha Institute of Nursing in 2012. Under his dynamic leadership, the institute has witnessed remarkable growth.

The journey began with the Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) program with an intake of 60 students. By 2018, the institute introduced the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) program, also with a 60-seat intake. Acknowledging Shri Sodha's dedication and capabilities, the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, and the Gujarat Nursing Council (GNC), Gandhinagar, granted the institute permission to expand its offerings. In the same year, the institute launched:

B.Sc. Nursing with 60 seats

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (P.B.B.Sc.) with 50 seats

M.Sc. Nursing with 40 seats

These milestones are a testament to Shri Kishorsinh Sodha’s commitment to academic excellence and his visionary approach to raising the standards of nursing education. Further acknowledging his leadership in the field, he is now a member of the Gujarat Nursing Council (State Nursing Council).
